These days we discover that students find it hard to get solutions to their homework and also Google is the quickest place for students to search answers for their homework .But we all know that Google is limited to some problems to solve. E.g mathematical expression.
This will look astonishing to some students by calculating their mathematical expression via a mobile app called Socratic . You can now solve any of your homework exercise including mathematical expression and word problems in various subjects.
The Socratic app lets you take a picture of a problem (you can also type it in, but that’s a little laborious), and it’ll not only give you an answer, but the steps necessary to arrive at that answer — and even detailed explanations of the steps and concepts if you need them.
Socratic is a user friendly app and also easy to use by simply taking a picture of the question you need to solve or word problem you need an answer for, after that step what you need to do, is to give the app few seconds to analyze it for you and finally it will display the answers to you not only that ,it will show you the steps for solving the question for you to learn from it and it also display explanatory videos if necessary and displays graphical expression for questions that requires it.
Socratic works for all subject, the app was recently updated with an enhance mathematical capabilities, here are few features of the app,
SCIENCE SUBJECT OR COURSE:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Earth Science
- Environmental science
- Organic chemistry
- English Grammer
- S History
- World History
“Students can now break down their question into small steps, allowing them to gain confidence and learn how to solve similar questions on their own, said Shreyans Bhansali, Socratic’s co-founder and head of engineering. “We hope to provide an experience similar to working with a tutor, except it’s free and on your phone.
“We believe our code has applications outside the Socratic app and we’re excited to release the core step-by-step solution code as open source so others can extend it and use it as they see fit.”
Android phone users don’t feel bad, yours are coming soon.
